State Bank of Patiala was established in the year 1917. The bank has around 1500 branches, most of which are located in the Northern states of India like Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, etc., The bank was merged with State Bank of India in the year 2017. State Bank of Patiala was inaugurated by the then Maharaja of Patiala. It was known by the name Patiala State Bank. It had a commercial nature and handled the central banking services of State Bank of Patiala as well. Over the years, the bank obtained several dimensions and handled different types of services.

The designated lunch hours of the bank are between 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The employees of the bank take breaks in batches to make sure there is enough staff to handle the clients. 

NEFT Transfer Timings 

The NEFT Transfer Timings of the bank were earlier only during bank hours for the online mode as well. With the coming in of the new timings, the NEFT Transfer timings were changed to 365x24x7. However, the NEFT Transfer timings for offline transaction is restricted only during bank working hours. 

RTGS Transfer Timings 

The RTGS Transfer Timings of the bank are for certain hours of the day. For the online mode, the RTGS Transaction is provided for 365x24x7.
