Why and When choosing RTGS/NEFT Transfer

NEFT Transfer:

You can choose to make NEFT transfer as it is very convenient and a very little charge is levied to make this transaction. This is a very safe mode of money transfer from Canara Bank. However, you should use this mode only when making a transfer of amount below Rs. 2 lakhs. Not because it is the maximum limit but because for transfers above Rs. 2 lakhs RTGS service is available and it is pretty faster when compared to NEFT transfer.

Basically NEFT transfers are made in timed slots by DNS mode, that’s why they take a comparatively longer time.

The maximum limit for NEFT transfer that can be made in a day as fixed by RBI is Rs. 10 lakhs.
